04.2011: The Tuning School is happy to announce our new partnership with SCT !  (www.sctflash.com)  We have been working together with SCT for the last several months to refine and produce our newest product, the SCT Beginners FORD Learn at home course!  This course has been in development since early 2010.

First Beginners Class in New Facility

06.2010: The Tuning School held it’s first Beginners class in our new training facility.  This class was able to use the new facility and new Mustang dyno to it’s full potential.  The class not only learned how to tune from start to finish – including MAF, VE, idle, part and full throttle, but they had a longer amount of hands-on tuning time as well.  This was due to a course improvement that we implemented as we learned from the feedback of previous seminar students.  Previous beginners seminars have been the first full day in class, and the second day was 1/2 classroom and 1/2 day dyno time.  Our new design has increased dyno time, and by 2pm on the first day, the students were actually out of the classroom and on the dyno tuning on their own vehicles (including a GTO, a procharged C5 Corvette, and a Magnacharged 5.3L Silverado) by following the procedures they learned in class.  This design has allowed us to teach in the morning, and reinforce it in the afternoon with the dyno, and has been a real hit with the students as hands-on time is so important.

New Partnership with Mustang Dynamometer

05.2010: The Tuning School is proud to announce our new partnership with Mustang Dynamometer.  We are working together, sharing ideas and technology in order to provide the best service to all of our customers.  We will be offering live seminar classes at their facility in Twinsberg, Ohio.  We are also very happy with our new Mustang dyno that has just been installed in our training facility in Odessa, FL.

First Advanced Class in New Facility

05.2010: The Tuning School held it’s first class (GM Advanced HP Tuners) in our new training facility, as we had moved in just a month prior.  The students got to learn with our new Mustang Dyno, which allowed the class to tune a really unique and cool vintage Chevy Silverado with a 6.0L Turbocharged, forged engine running a 2 bad speed density tune.  The class fixed the driveability problems (coast-down stalling, etc…) as well as the full throttle tuning thanks in part to the simulated load provided by the Eddy brake equipped Mustang Dyno.

Tuning School Beginners Class in Dallas

04.2010: The Tuning School held a beginners GM HP Tuners class in Dallas, Texas, which was sold out again!  It quickly reached the limit of 20 students as it had for the previous classes.  We had a great mix of shop owners and enthusiasts from all over the USA.  One student put his frame-off resto-modded 67 Camaro (with LS1 engine swap) onto the trailer and drove down so that he could learn – and the class could tune on a really cool car.  Although he drove all the way from Wisconsin, he was not the longest traveling student to a Texas seminar; that award went to Nathan from Alaska.

The Tuning School Releases New Product

08.2009: The Tuning School releases our new product, a guide to tuning the 6 speed GM Automatic transmission.  This 30+ page guide goes step by step through the complex process of getting that transmission to perform like it should!  It can be tuned to shift when you pull the paddles, you can get rid of that annoying lag and even get the shifts nice and firm as well.

05.2009: The Tuning School is proud to release the pre-sale of our newest course, Tuning the Right Way: An Advanced Guide to Tuning GM Vehicles with HP Tuners Software. The learn-at-home course starts shipping in late June 2009. Our first Advanced class will be held in June 2009 with limited seating.
