From the comfort of your own home, we teach you how to use the HP Tuners software AND how to tune the right way (like a 2-for-1 deal!). This course is designed for beginners so that you can head out and start tuning on your own with confidence from the day you receive the learn-at-home course in the mail. The CD-ROM actually contains live demonstrations of how some of the more involved tables work with explanations of how to adjust those tables properly for your type of tune. With the CD-ROM, this is not just another book learning class.
Students can also tune with confidence because you also receive our custom designed Tuning Checklists. These laminated sheets bullet point (with quick references to your manual if you get stuck or need more help) each step for each of the three types of car combinations: bolt-on's, heads/cam combos, and forced induction (superchargers/nitrous).

This course is designed for students who have a good working beginners knowledge and are ready to move up to the advanced stage. The included CD-ROM contains live demonstrations of how some of the more involved tables work, as well as videos of advanced tuning sessions. We provide the same type of explanations of how to adjust those tables properly for your type of tune, as we did with the beginners guide. With the CD-ROM, this is not just another book class, and with the year of support via phone, email, and private forum, you are never alone in your tuning.
Students who already have the beginners course will notice the layout of the advanced is different than the beginners version. The Advanced course is broken up by section for the type of tuning you are doing, such as "Idle", "Part Throttle", etc...
Topics on the VCM Scanner section of the course include in depth answers and setup for Fuel Trims, Histograms (custom and configuration), Gauges, Table Insertion and custom PID's including Boost, gas Mileage (MPG), custom triggers & filters, and much more. Effective use of VCM Scanner's Live commands, for such uses as advanced idle tuning, dyno tuning, etc... More detailed transmission scanning and it's workings, and much more.
